This policy explains how Michlo LLC, a Virginia limited liability company operating as Michlo Atelier (“we,” “us”), handles information when you visit michloatelier.com, request a quote or place an order. We sell to businesses only, and we keep data collection to what we need to serve you.
Information we collect
When you contact us through the quote form or by email, we may receive:
- Your name, company name, email address and phone number
- Logo files, artwork and other design materials you send us
- Order details such as quantities, designs, delivery dates and shipping address
- Billing information needed to invoice and receive payment
- Anything else you choose to include in your messages
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, design and produce your ornaments, ship and support your order, handle payment, and keep the business records we are required to keep. We may also contact you about your existing orders or quotes.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the business, such as our website host, the form service that delivers quote requests to our inbox (FormSubmit), email provider, payment processor, shipping carriers and the workshop that produces your order (for example, your artwork and order details). They may use it only to provide those services to us. Card payments are handled by the payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Your artwork
Logos and artwork you send are used only to design and produce your order. We do not use them for any other purpose or show them publicly without your permission.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Pages load fonts and styling from third-party services (Google Fonts and a CSS content delivery network), which receive your IP address and basic browser information as part of delivering those files. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and performance.
How long we keep it
We keep quote inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, generally no more than three years if no order results. Order, invoice and payment records are kept as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (subject to records we must keep). Email info@michloatelier.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is intended for business customers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
